After 38 years of great memories on Waikiki Beach, the owners of the Shore Bird are retiring at the end of the existing lease on September 30, 2017. We have met so many wonderful friends over the years, from the early years of Sunday bikini contests and nightly disco dancing to the more recent days of happy hour Mai Tais and nightly Karaoke. The unique “broil your own” dining concept is as popular today as it was in 1979. Over 25 million people from all over the world have wined and dined and experienced the Aloha at the “Da Bird” over the past 38 years.
There have been so many friends and so many memories. We hope you have time to visit us again and celebrate the Shore Bird’s “Aloha Oe” (Farewell) before October 1, 2017, as well as share any photos or joyful moments you have with us on our Facebook Page.
Share your memories with us on Facebook. The Shore Bird Ohana looks forward to seeing or hearing from you soon. Make your reservation today or walk in off Waikiki Beach until September 30, 2017. We look forward to celebrating with you! Many Mahalos!
(The restaurant space will return to the hotel’s operation under a new soon to be announced concept)
